This week I just worked with the kids individually. There is a girl that has become attached to me and it makes me nervous because I am afraid she's going to become to attached and not focus on school. All the kids are starting to get more comfortable when I come in.
I know what you mean with developing the attachment... 2 girls in the English class are like that... I asked Mr. Bauer if I could grade to kind of space myself- that way I know they're still paying attention.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, but it's not so much the girls. haha lol (There aren't many girls anyway.) If one kid is misbehaving Mrs. Cogorno tries to set the student by me so they don't misbehave, but to them it's a privileged to sit by me. Kids are funny like that. lol
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. there are only 5 kids in my class and only 1 girl. so the girl and i often work together. I'm glad she is starting to feel comfortable around me but i don't want to take away from the task.
